Beyond formal disclosures, Councillor Yule holds ongoing Town Halls and other community engagement opportunities to give residents a direct opportunity to raise questions, share concerns, and hear firsthand how Council decisions are shaping Ward 3. Councillor Yule sees these events not as obligations but as the foundation of a working relationship with the people he represents - one built on consistency, honesty, and an appreciation for hearing from a diverse range of voices.

Councillor Yule's Ward 3 Transit Survey
Earlier this year, Calgary Transit announced plans to phase out the ten remaining express bus routes across the city. The changes are part of a broader rebalancing of transit resources, with the goal of shifting service toward higher-demand areas and underserved communities, and aligning with the long-term vision set out in RouteAhead. Half of the express routes being phased out city-wide serve Ward 3, meaning our communities are impacted more than most.
With that context in mind, in April, members of the Ward 3 team rode each of the five express routes serving the area: 62 Hidden Valley, 64 MacEwan, 109 Harvest Hills, 116 Coventry Hills, and 142 Panorama - during both morning and afternoon commutes, speaking with riders of different ages, backgrounds, and needs. We asked what was and wasn't working with transit in North Central Calgary, and how people felt about Calgary Transit's proposed changes.
In May and June, we ran an online survey of Ward 3 transit riders to gather feedback that would directly inform Councillor Yule's advocacy to Calgary Transit. Thanks to the hundreds of residents who made their voices heard, a modified express bus service will continue in North Central Calgary.

Town Hall: Let’s Talk About Citywide Rezoning
Residents were invited to a Ward 3 Town Hall to learn about and share input on the Proposed Repeal of Citywide Rezoning.
In 2024 City Council approved citywide rezoning in response to Calgary’s housing crisis. The purpose was to enable an increase in housing supply and housing choices, and was one of 98 recommendations made in the Home is Here Housing Strategy.
On December 15, 2025, Council initiated the process to consider a repeal of citywide rezoning through a public hearing that began March 23, 2026.

Town Hall: Let's Talk About the 2026 Municipal Budget
Residents were invited to meet their new Ward 3 city councillor, Andrew Yule, and share thoughts on the priorities that matter most to our communities.
Representatives from City administration were in attendance to answer questions and provide further information about the recommendations for Calgary’s 2026 budget adjustments.
