Calgary's Largest Youth Hiring Fair Returns March 26

If you're between the ages of 15 and 24 and looking for work, the Youth Hiring Fair is an opportunity worth attending. Hosted by the Youth Employment Centre (YEC), the event takes place on March 26, 2026 at the Big Four Building at Stampede Park - free of charge and open to all youth in that age range.

This year, 80 employers will be on-site actively recruiting for part-time, full-time, permanent, and seasonal positions, with more than 5,000 young job seekers expected to attend. The fair runs from 1:30 to 6:00 pm and provides a direct opportunity to speak with employers, ask questions, and learn about available roles.

Now in its 27th year, the YEC Hiring Fair is the largest youth hiring event in Calgary. Since 1999, over 2,000 employers have participated and more than 100,000 young Calgarians have connected with employment opportunities through the event, reflecting a long-standing commitment to supporting youth as they enter the workforce.

Prepare Before You Go

The Youth Employment Centre offers free drop-in support for resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies ahead of the fair. No appointment is required.

The YEC is located at the Alberta Trade Centre (315 – 10th Ave. SE) and is open weekdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
