Calgary really does show its true colours during Stampede, and this year gave us the best reminder of that yet. Ten-plus days of incredible events, warm welcomes, and genuine community spirit. Updated June 27, 2026: The City of Calgary and Stampede tent operators reached a revised agreement that balances a vibrant Stampede atmosphere with stronger protections for nearby residents. Under the updated plan, pre-midnight sound levels will return to last year’s limits, while bass levels remain lower than they were in 2025. Calgary Transit is gearing up for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, and is ready to help Calgarians and visitors make the most of it! Heading to Stampede? From July 2–12, 2026, adjusted and expanded transit routes make getting there easier for everyone.
