Calgary Transit is gearing up for the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, and is ready to help Calgarians and visitors make the most of it!

Heading to Stampede? From July 2–12, 2026, adjusted and expanded transit routes make getting there easier for everyone.

For Ward 3, Route 405 – Stampede North Express (previously Route 511) will provide direct service for customers and Stampede goers between North Pointe Terminal and Erlton Bus Terminal, every day during Stampede. The routing has been adjusted and will now stop at all MAX Green stations along the Centre St N corridor.

For this looking to park a bit closer to the grounds, Route 403 – Parade Day Express will support customers on Parade Day, while Route 407 – Stampede Family Day Shuttle will support customers on Family Day. These two specialty bus services will shuttle customers and Stampede goers between downtown and the Stampede grounds, via the Erlton Bus Terminal.

CTrain service will be increased as well, operating 24/7 to support higher ridership over the course of the 11 event days.

Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and use the Transit app or the trip planner on calgarytransit.com for the most up to date travel information.
