New Crosswalk RRFB: Country Hills Drive & Country Hills Gate NW
Neighbours in Country Hills may have noticed some recent changes to the pedestrian crossing at Country Hills Drive NW & Country Hills Gate NW.
A new Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) has been installed at this location. The flashing lights are activated by pedestrians and are designed to improve visibility, alerting drivers that someone is crossing and helping all road users more safely naviagate this busy intersection.

More RRFBs are expected for Ward 3, and we’ll keep you updated as they’re installed. In the meantime, please slow down, stay alert, and look out for one another, especially around crosswalks, schools, and areas with where pedestrians and cyclists are present.
