This past weekend, the North Trail High School Key Club hosted its annual Spring Carnival, bringing together students, families, community members, first responders, and local organizations for a day of fun, connection, and fundraising.
The event was a fundraiser i support of FearIsNotLove, a Calgary-based organization dedicated to helping individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the students and volunteers who organized the carnival, hundreds of guests came out to enjoy the festivities while contributing to an important cause.
Councillor Yule was grateful for the opportunity to attend and help welcome Mayor Farkas to the event. The carnival featured a range of activities, games, entertainment, and a popular bucket dunk tank that drew plenty of attention, including an all-too-happy Mayor Farkas eagerly drenching Councillor Yule.
Events like the Spring Carnival showcase the incredible leadership, compassion, and community spirit of Calgary’s young people. A heartfelt thank you to the students of the North Trail High School Key Club, the many volunteers, sponsors, and community groups who helped make this year’s carnival such a success.
