Various Street Improvements Program
The City of Calgary's Various Street Improvements (VSI) Program is underway for 2026, with construction running from April through November across locations citywide.
The VSI Program delivers small- to medium-scale operational and safety upgrades on behalf of City departments including Mobility, Parks, and Water Services. Typical projects include intersection upgrades, curb extensions, traffic calming measures, sidewalk and pathway connections, drainage enhancements, and transit facility improvements.
Projects range in duration from a few days to a few months and are aimed at improving the safety, accessibility, and overall quality of Calgary's existing infrastructure.
