Jane's Walk Photo Recap

Updated: May 6

This past Sunday, we spent a beautiful morning exploring Nose Creek as part of this year's Jane's Walk. It was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, take in the landscape, and gather together as a community.

The walk included shared conversations about our local watershed, the surrounding environment, and the important history of this area. These are the kinds of interactions that remind us why events like Jane's Walk matter - not just as a chance to get outside, but as a way to better understand and appreciate the places we call home.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to learn and connect. Your presence and curiosity made the morning really special. An extra acknowledgment to Mayor Farkas, Councillor Dhaliwal, and Councillor Tyers for making the trek out to join us, and to the Panorama Hills Residents Association, Elliott Lindsay and the team at Freshwater Conservation Canada, and the amazing folks at Federation for Calgary Communities for their support, dedication, and hard work in bringing this event together.

Until next year, Jane's Walk!
