National Indigenous History Month & Aboriginal Awareness Week Events

  • 1 min read

In June, during National Indigenous History Month, we celebrate the rich heritage of our First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

National Indigenous History Month is a time for Indigenous Peoples to celebrate their history and an invitation for all Canadians to learn about the pivotal role Indigenous Peoples have played in shaping our nation. The month aims to foster a deeper understanding of Indigenous history and identity, both past and present, and serves as one meaningful path toward Reconciliation - a journey that benefits all of us.

Join us in honouring and learning about Canada's rich Indigenous heritage.
