Ward 3 Community Cleanup Events

Reduce clutter and keep your neighbourhood clean. Community Cleanup events help residents safely dispose of household items that do not fit in their black cart, keeping our neighbourhoods cleaner and more tidy.

Community Cleanups take place across Calgary from April 25 to September 27, 2026. Events are held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 2 pm and are open to all residents, regardless of where you live.

Community Cleanups are organized and run by community volunteers. Contact your local Community Association for questions about event details or to sign up to volunteer.

How do community cleanups work?

  • Plan ahead. Check the Community Cleanup calendar for upcoming events.

  • Know what’s accepted. Review the list of accepted and non-accepted items before you arrive.

  • Arrive early. Events may reach capacity. Event organizers may stop accepting vehicles before the event ends if capacity is reached. For example, vehicles may stop joining the line at 1 pm to ensure everyone already waiting can unload before the 2 pm closing time.
