The City of Calgary has sent more than 600,000 property assessment notices for 2026. The Customer Review Period is now open until March 23, 2026. What your assessment means Your 2026 property assessment reflects an estimate of your property’s market value as of July 1, 2025. If there were changes to your property after that date, the assessment reflects its characteristics as of December 31, 2025. Assessments are used to determine each property owner’s share of property tax.

UPDATE: January 16, 2026 | 1 PM Thank you Calgary! Effective immediately, all water restrictions have been lifted. Your efforts over these past two weeks have allowed crews to complete the necessary repair on the Bearspaw feeder main. While this repair has been finished, there is additional pipe reinforcement work planned for the Spring and Fall 2026.
